Dear Friends,
I’m so glad you will be part of this month-long adventure! We have a great little community that has signed up to be part of this daily email list. Many of you have returned after last year’s initial offering (thank you), and I’m glad to see we are joined by many new folks too (welcome!).
The theme this for this month will be “Daily Life Practice”. I hope to explore ways to weave mindfulness and meditative practices into our regular activities. Of course, I’ll also encourage you to develop and maintain a daily dedicated practice period too.
I’m going to draw inspiration from a series of recorded talks that Andrea Fella gave as part of a “Daily Life Practice Retreat” in April of 2016. This was a neat little week-long retreat where people came to the IMC retreat center in the morning and evening, but otherwise went about their lives. I’ll reference several of the talks as we go through this month, and I welcome you to follow along.
I’ll also provide quotes, links to other meditations or other talks, or some suggested activities to try.
